You've made it! Graduation is right around the corner; but before you cross the stage, you need to do a few things first.
Complete a Graduation Application
- February 1, 2024
- Complete an online application on TUPortal.
Check the Name on Your Diploma
- You will have your diploma for the rest of your life. Make sure it's accurate. If you're having your name legally changed, complete the Request for Change of Name on Record Form with the Office of the Registrar.
Order Your Cap, Gown, Hood and Tassel
- As a Temple graduate, you are required to wear your school/college's approved cap, gown, hood and tassel at Commencement and graduation.
- Purchase your academic regalia in person at the main campus bookstore at any time. Regalia can be ordered online between mid-February through April 5 for home delivery.
- For more information, please contact the Main Campus Bookstore at 215-204-5578.
Order Your Tickets
- February 20, 2024 – March 24, 2024
- If you are inviting guests to the University Commencement ceremony and/or to your school/college graduation ceremony, you must request tickets by March 24.
- Graduates from the College of Liberal Arts, College of Engineering, College of Science and Technology, Klein College of Media and Communication, and Tyler School of Art and Architecture will RSVP for their individual graduation ceremonies through a separate registration system but will need to use the university’s ticket page to request tickets for Main Commencement. Your school/college will be in touch with additional information.
Review Your Student Account
- April 22, 2024
- Make sure any holds against your university account are removed at least two weeks prior to graduation. This includes financial, athletic and exit interview holds.
- To find out if your account has any outstanding holds, visit Self-Service Banner (SSB).
Complete Your Exit Interview
- April 22, 2024
- Before you graduate, if you've received financial aid, you must complete your exit interview. This is a chance to better understand your student loans and personal finances.
- You can complete the interview online.
